I'm probably a moron because i have to ask this but are you supposed to go through the whole 12- week cycle using just one of the lower body ME movements or is the purpose to alternate them on day 2? Just finished the first week today and the 100 push ups really got to me, Thanks for a kickass program Joe.

  4. Jeremy.........just stop. You only sound 1/2 stupid right now, so...don't go further. I have 5 3 1 as well, and this book is EVERY bit as valuable. Wendler went into extreme detail for a reason! The info is almost identical in trainin economy and truth. Save yourself from further moron status. Great book DeFranco!
  5. Hey Joe, great book and thank you from all the washed up meatheads. It doesn't cover it, but what is your thoughts or beliefs on diet. Carb rotations (cycling), macro breakdown, etc.. Thoughts on supps also. Thanks in advance.
  6. program looks great! did some testing for 1 rm's today, but started using the warm-ups from the program, felt great! I will start Day 1 on Monday for those complaining about price, go try and get a personalized 12 week routine from some random trainer and see what it costs you.....then multiply that times 10 if you were going to get a trainer that works with actual NFL players $47 is a steal..

  8. Joe- Program looks really cool I am excited to try it out. Quesiton for you I am a 25 year old teacher who loves to workout. I am a little bummed out that the program is only three days a week. I saw in the faq section of the book that you can add a workout if you so choose.... Would it be a bad idea to add a full body dynamic effort day to the program? All I can see for dynamic effort exercises is on your lower body day. Thanks for any feedback you can give P.S. I am also curious for you to comment on the people who have asked is this a program younger people can follow who still are maybe in the "prime years" of lifting?

  11. It is a great program, thank you Joe! If you ever designed programs for yourself, you know how much time it takes...and then you have to test and/or modify them. THIS program is already proven and it is the right thing for me.
  12. Jeremy, would you be more satisfied if it were 300 pages of complicated instructions? What is the value of someone who creates, tests and implements a workable program that is simple enough for someone to actually follow? Would you rather watch a 4 hour crappy movie or 30 minutes of the best show you've ever seen? Measure value by results, not by length.

  15. Highly disappointed in cost. Only 22 pages for $47. Over 2 dollars a page for a sample program. Wendler's 5-3-1 for 19.95 is a much better deal.
