  1. Hey Joe,

I’ve been a follower since circa 2003. WS4SB was awesome. Heard every episode of your podcast, although about 11 months behind.

Just listening to #479 now. I have heard the small-storage-facility-as-your-first-gym story many times and thought it was cool. But not until now, when you explained that in your country the only gyms prior to you were expensive, huge complexes, I understand one of your angles with that story is that you were the first of your kind in your country. That’s an added element.

The first gym I went to was in an industrial estate, in a storage facility, back in 1996, and it wasn’t unique.

Good to finally understand that part of your story, Joe.

Thanks for all of the awesome content—really appreciate it!
Keep up the fantastic work, mate!

P.S. I’m right there with you—those bloody bastards leaving shopping trolleys out drive me mad, and don’t even get me started on people who put their feet on train seats!
